Chapter 7

Prevention is Better than Cure

Prevention is better than cure with most bad things in life and this is never truer than when we consider cancer. The problem is, because there are so many facets to the disease, there are so many steps to prevention. We are already near to information overload with things we have to do to survive on a daily basis – never mind reading, researching and practicing everything we are told we should do to keep healthy. Even if we do the research, there are so many contradictions that we don’t know what or who to believe, so most of us take the easy way out and do nothing – or we try to do some of them. But life gets in the way.

I am going to make it simple.

I’ll give you a variety of quick and easy techniques that take little time which can be done anywhere. I have called it ‘the quick fix’ – It takes less than 5 minutes but your health could improve by considerably.

You may believe that improving your health is difficult, it takes a lot of hard work and is not much fun or there’s no gain without pain and usually, when we believe something it becomes true! This can prevent you from even starting by relying on your past experiences of failure. Beliefs play a major role in whatever we do or, more to the point, what we don’t do. They are so ingrained deep down in our subconscious that we will struggle to change anything in our lives without first dealing with the limiting belief.
