Onion Therapy by Paula Reed is a remarkable book written by a remarkable woman! I didn’t know what to expect, but I was certainly not disappointed! It is a dramatic story of Paula’s life as a child, through her teenage years, (which were indeed traumatic, as well as her later success as a business entrepreneur. Paula’s dedication to helping sick people is well documented and the book gives a valuable insight into a group of unusual therapies that I personally know, have a powerful and positive impact on the treatment of Cancer. A truly memorable book.

Paula Reed’s account of a truly sad childhood is heartbreaking. But this isn’t a ‘pity party’; she shares with us her own determined effort to peel away the layers of hurt, shame and denial to finally confront all that was holding her back. Paula emerges a happier and stronger person. What’s special about Onion Therapy is that the Author shares not only her journey, but also the tools she used to overcome a tragic beginning. A truly inspiring read.

The book had captured my interest right from the start. It made for an easy ready which, sometimes, the self-help books can be daunting and difficult to read in the context of digesting the content but this book was simplified to the reader’s ease, I am sure. It was poignant, with Paula’s upbringing, knowledgeable, informative and is a very helpful book to have in your possession. I recommend this book, for all sorts of reasons contained within the book, but you will not be disappointed and, at once, you reflect on your lifestyle. We all want to survive and looking after ourselves in the right way, is the beginning.

This is such an honest account, it’s hard to read, but even harder to put down.
